When everyone else is partied out the Russians only start to party! - Third annual Red Shift Festival announces its dates that coincide with Russian Old New Year - January 13 - 15th

The festival showcases work of filmmakers born in former Soviet Union and now are living abroad - an amazing variety of artists and points of view. A Special highlight of the Festival - Animation Program (a "don't miss" event!) It features work of internationally recognized animators such as Signe Baumane Sergei Aniskov, Irra Verbitsky, Aleksey Budovskiy etc.

RSF 2005 expands further on the Festival?s high-profile foundation by featuring works by Russian-speaking artists from the USA, Canada, Israel, Germany and Netherlands. Taking place January 13th, 14th, and 15th, 2005, the third RSFest will be composed of six screenings at the Anthology Film Archives in New York City.

Russians go West, and film

The third annual Red Shift Festival, dedicated to work by Russian and Russian-speaking cinematographers and animators living in the West, is coming to New York next week.
